Miami, Florida \u2013 Shuojia Sandy Chen has won a prestigious Award of Merit (Woman Filmmakers) from The Accolade Global Film Competition. The award was given for Shuojia’s exciting short film, My Mom Wants to Kill Me. My Mom Wants to Kill Me features exceptional story line and visual effects design. It is a story about an 8-year-old girl Alice being killed by her mom over and over again, until she accepts the truth of her mom\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
